EAGLE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office now believes a man they say is armed and dangerous has stolen a vehicle.

Investigators believe 43-year-old Johnathan Pogreba may be driving a stolen 2015 white BMW 32XI, 4-door sedan with Wisconsin license plates of 128-YCW. The Sheriff's Office says the vehicle was stolen from a home about a half miles south of the Pogreba home.

"Holy crap that guy was right here, you know, I didn't think he'd make it through the cops," said neighbor Tim Antczak.

Antczak says Pogreba stole his neighbor's car while they were on vacation.

Officials believe Pogreba stole the car after getting into an argument with his wife on Tuesday. Their son fired shots at Pogreba to break up the fight and Pogreba took off. For two days law enforcement searched the area but couldn't find him and have since called off the manhunt.

"It was in the garage. He must have broken into the house from what I know and I believe the keys were in the car," said Antczak. "I thank God he didn't try busting into my house."

Pogreba was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, dark jeans, black tennis shoes with white trim and a black baseball hat with yellow lettering. Authorities say he may be headed to the La Crosse area or possibly Minnesota where his known to have acquaintances.

"It's just a shocking experience. It’s that same old cliché, 'we wouldn’t think it would happen in our neighborhood,' well it does," Antczak said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the investigation tip line at 262-896-8139.

Authorities say if you see Pogreba or the vehicle to call 911 and do not attempt to stop him yourself as he still believed to be armed and dangerous.

EAGLE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The armed and dangerous man wanted by police after a domestic dispute in Eagle has officially been charged. 43-year-old Jonathan Pogreba has been charged with domestic abuse, disorderly conduct, second degree recklessly endangering safety and pointing a gun at another person.

According to the criminal complaint, on Tuesday, June 5 Pogreba's wife came home from work the day after she filed for divorce and got into an argument with her husband. Pogreba found his wife's second phone in her car and came in saying "this isn't going to be good." According to the victim, Pogreba then took out a gun from behind his back. The victim grabbed the gun and pushed it upwards and Pogreba pushed her out the door and into the side of a parked car where she fell with Pogreba on top of her pointing a gun at her face. After screaming that Pogreba had a gun the victim's son came out with a shotgun.

Pogreba hid behind a car and the son fired shots from the shotgun causing the suspect to run away. The son told detectives he was playing video games when he heard his parents arguing so he grabbed the shotgun from under his bed and went to confront his dad.

The son said he fired a shot at his father as he ran away and believed he hit him since he saw Pogreba stutter.

After dropping his mom off at a neighbors house, the son went into his dad's car where he found two guns. As he was taking the guns he saw his dad come back towards the house so he fired two additional shots in his direction before leaving.
