MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- While it's a return to normal in our area, the state's largest special events in Wisconsin are struggling to hire enough workers.
Both the Wisconsin State Fair and Summerfest are looking to fill hundreds of positions; from entry level to supervisor roles.
Each event is looking for people to fill spots in public safety, admissions, and concessions.
The event's organizer says they are excited to hire people for this historic season.
"I think we're all just excited to get somewhat back to normal," said Jen Puente, Chief Marketing Officer of the Wisconsin State Fair. "Summerfest and State Fair are certainly two of those occasions and things are coming back and we're so excited to get back to live events."
The Wisconsin State Fair will take place for 11 days next month and Summerfest for three weekends in September.
