Summerfest doesn't intend to require vaccine proof in 2022

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Summerfest announced Rod Stewart will headline the the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on July 7, 2022 for the third and final weekend of the music festival.

With it came the news that Milwaukee World Festivals (MWF) does not intend to implement entrance protocols or a mask requirement for Summerfest 2022.

Summerfest has no plans to require proof of vaccination or proof of a negative test like it did for Summerfest 2021. MWF said, however, it will monitor the situation and continue to work closely with health experts, while following local guidelines.

Summerfest will take place over three weekends starting June 25, 2022.
