MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Summerfest announced Friday, Jan. 31 that online submissions are open for up-and-coming artists to apply for a performance slot at the 2025 festival.

Applications are available through March 31.

The festival runs over three weekends and features more than 600 artists across multiple genres, including rock, country, hip-hop and indie. The application process is facilitated through Amplead, a platform aimed at supporting emerging musicians.

Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. and Amplead said in a Friday press release that they are working together to provide opportunities for grassroots artists to perform.
