MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Phoenix will introduce a sober lounge at Summerfest 2025, establishing the first designated alcohol-free space in the Milwaukee music festival’s 57-year history.

The Phoenix Sober Lounge will operate noon to 8 p.m. each day of the festival’s three-weekend schedule.

Organizers say the lounge will open Thursday, June 19 and be active through Saturday, July 5. It will be located on the Henry Maier Festival Park grounds across from the BMO Pavilion and will include recovery meetups, mocktails and games in a substance-free environment.

The lounge is free with admission and organized by The Phoenix, a national sober-active nonprofit. More information can be found by clicking here.
