Summertime Not Giving Up (for Now)

The calendar says it's Labor Day, the unofficial end of summer, but Mother Nature has other ideas.  Some of the warmest weather we've seen in a while is happening through Wednesday.

In fact the heat advisory will approach 100 degrees on Tuesday.  The air temperature will be around 90.  But a cold front will help put a dent in the temperatures by the end of the week.

The same front will give us the chance for showers and thunderstorms, especially on Wednesday, although the northern tier could see storms as soon as Tuesday evening.  Some of us could get at least an inch of rain. Then there's another front behind this one to affect us on Friday, mainly the second part of the day.

The upcoming weekend, including Patriot Day on Sunday, looks nice and comfortable.
