WEST BEND (CBS 58)--There are ten names on the list but only one of them can make it into the "Packers FAN Hall of Fame." 89-year old Leo DeGroot from West Bend hopes it's him. His family convinced him to try for a second year in a row. DeGroot says he loves the Packers and has been following this team for most of his life. This retired teacher, Korean vet, and cancer survivor has been a season ticket holder for decades and even had front row seats at the Ice Bowl in 1967. He witnessed Bart Starr scoring the winning touch down against the Dallas Cowboys in the remaining seconds of the game. DeGroot tells me he loves everything about the Green and Gold, especially the community impact.
You can play a role in deciding the one lucky person who gets into this special Hall of Fame. You have through Sunday to vote. Click here to do so and learn all the perks about being part of this special fan club.
