Sunny today, but the next rain chance isn't far away

It's SO nice to have abundant sunshine back in southeast Wisconsin! Temps are warming nicely under the sunshine, but we still have a northeast wind.

The NE wind will hold temps in the low to mid 60s lakeside today while inland spots make a run at 70°.

After a day full of sun today, clouds return Thursday along with scattered showers and isolated storms, primarily in the afternoon and evening.

Storms may produce localized downpours, gusty winds, or hail. We do have a level 1 of 5, Marginal Risk, in place for Thursday.

Most, if not all, of the rain will stay to our south on Friday. Temps will be on a warming trend heading into the weekend with highs returning to the 70s. Temps will be warmer inland as the wind stays off the lake for a few days.

Warm and damp have been the words of the year so far. Through yesterday, Milwaukee continues to experience its 2nd warmest and 6th wettest starts to the year.

No surprise that trend will continue! Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather App to see the full 7 day forecast.
