WAUKESHA COUNTY (CBS 58) – Two businesses in Waukesha County are looking for their snow plows.

Both were stolen over the weekend.

MJS Landscaping is one of the businesses affected. Workers had one of their plows parked over the weekend and on Monday, it was gone. However, they got a glimpse of who took it because it was all caught on camera.

Surveillance video shows a pick-up truck pulling in, then just a few minutes later the truck leaves with the boss snow plow attached to the front.

“Hes probably using it for himself or maybe if he has a small fleet or something," said Brian Behselich with MJS Landscaping Services.

The truck is described as a two-toned Chevy GMC with a salt light in the back. Workers believe this was a planned attack since the suspect had the attachments on his truck.

This was not the only incident. Another boss snow plow was stolen from The Boat House in Delafield sometime friday night.

Workers believe the person who stole it detached the plow from the company truck and put it on theirs.

“I noticed my truck was in the middle of the parking lot, kinda strange. I thought someone moved it out of the way. As I was looking out the window, I looked down and I noticed the plow was gone," said Dano Myers with The Boat House.

With snow in the forecast later this week, workers are worried it will affect their business.

"In the winter time, it’s our livelihood as far as the plows and the salting.” said Behselich.

Snow plow controllers and salt spinners were also taken at MJS Landscaping.

If you recognize the truck or know who stole the snow plows, contact Waukesha County Sheriff's Department or Delafield Police.
