MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two people are on the run, accused of stealing a snake from Pet World in Menomonee Falls.
Police hope newly released surveillance video from Nov. 20 will help them catch the thieves.
An employee says a man and woman walked into the reptile room and walked out with a two-foot Ball Python.
A Pet World employee called police. She says the thieves are in for an unexpected surprise, because the stolen snake is sick.
"They just reached in, took it and walked out," she said. "The snake actually wasn't feeling well, so the joke was on them."
The Ball Python is worth about $200.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Waukesha County Crime Stoppers.
