MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 54-year-old Milwaukee man is accused of fatally shooting a man and then killing a woman who witnessed it.

According to a criminal complaint, on Nov. 4, Kevin Griffin allegedly shot a man he was trying to evict near 12th and Fiebrantz. It reportedly happened during a drug deal.

The criminal complaint says A'nya Raymond witnessed the shooting and Griffin reportedly told investigators she was, "just in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Raymond reportedly told Griffin she was not going to say anything about the shooting, but he didn't believe her.

The criminal complaint says Raymond asked Griffin if they could, "go somewhere and kick it." The two got into his car, per the complaint, and Raymond's 7-year-old son got into the back seat.

While driving, Griffon told investigators Raymond reached into her purse and pulled out a knife and mace. That's when, according to the complaint, Griffin admitted he "hit her," and said, "I was like [expletive] it. I shot her too."

Griffin admitted to authorities, according to the complaint, he dumped Raymond's body in an alley and ditched his gun near some train tracks. He then reportedly took Raymond's child back to the house, put him in Raymond's car, and drove the car miles away and told the child to wait there for his mother.

Griffin has been charged with two counts of first-degree reckless homicide, use of a dangerous weapon, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.

In court on Sunday, Nov. 16, a judge set Griffin's bond at $500,000.

He's due back in court Nov. 26 for a preliminary hearing.
