Suspect arrested, charged in homicide of Racine mother

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police have arrested a suspect in the homicide of a 36-year-old Racine woman.

Thirty-year-old Alejandro Sierra was taken into custody around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21, near 9th and Center in Racine.

He's been charged with first-degree intentional homicide for the murder of Alexis Fisher, a mother of five.

Police say the firearm used in the homicide was also recovered.

Records show Sierra's initial court appearance is set for Friday afternoon.
