Suspect sought in alleged assault on Port Washington gas station clerk

PORT WASHINGTON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Port Washington police are looking for a suspect accused of assaulting a gas station clerk Tuesday evening, Sept. 19. 

Officials say the individual entered the SP Mart on Grand Avenue around 8 p.m. and splashed the clerk with liquid mixed with an unknown substance. During the confrontation, police say he splashed the clerk multiple times in the face, causing the attendant pain and temporarily blindness.

The suspect fled on foot, but is believed to be connected with a silver SUV.
