Teen dead after triple shooting near Long Island and Custer

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The victim was identified by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office Tuesday as 16-year-old Marrion Johnson.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 16-year-old died Sunday night in a triple shooting near Long Island and Custer, according to Milwaukee police.

The shooting took place at around 10:41 p.m. on July 27. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second 16-year-old and a 17-year-old suffered nonfatal injuries. One was transported to a local hospital, while the other arrived separately for treatment, police said.

One neighbor told CBS 58, she believes the shooting happened in the basement of a home. 

Police tell us two 16-year-old were arrested in connection. 

The investigation is ongoing.
