Teen shot near 19th and Congress early Wednesday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police are investigating a shooting that took place Wednesday, Aug. 7 at around 5 a.m. in which a 16-year-old was shot.

Milwaukee police say the shooting took place in the area near 19th and Congress.

The teenage victim was transported to a hospital for treatment for what police describe as a non-fatal injury.
