MILWUAKEE (CBS 58) -- A 15-year-old was shot late Thursday, Jan. 2, according to Milwaukee police.

MPD reports that the teenager was shot at around 11:10 p.m. near the corner of 79th and Carmen before being transported to a local hospital to be treated for injuries that officials consider to be non-life threatening.

An investigation into what led tup to the shooting is still under investigation, and police are still seeking unknown suspects.
