Monday was briefly warm in the morning when we reached the upper 70s. Then we saw a big drop in temps come during the early afternoon. This was our first "pneumonia front" of the season which is when a cold front rolls in over Lake Michigan with a wind direction shift to the northeast and a temperature drop of at least 16 degrees in one hour. Monday afternoon the temp dropped from 75 at 1 PM to 59 at 2 PM.
Some lingering light showers from Tuesday morning through the early afternoon and persistent mostly cloudy sky will keep temps on the cooler side Tuesday. We also see a lake breeze which will keep temps in Milwaukee in the mid 50s but warming to around 60 away from the Lake.
The lake breeze stays with us most of this week. The NE wind on Wednesday relaxes a bit but still breezy at times. Thursday is more of SE wind so in the warmer lake direction but a lake breeze nonetheless.
Wednesday stays slightly below average in the low 60s then we warm back up to around 70 Thursday and Friday and even warmer for the weekend.
