Tens of thousands attend Game 4 watch parties in hopes of watching Brewers make history
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There Brewers are looking to make history by capturing their first World Series title, and outside of Tropicana Field, there is no better place to watch the action than American Family Field.
The Game 4 watch party is sold out, with nearly 31,000 tickets sold. But there are many other parties going on throughout Southeast Wisconsin.
Deer District is hosting its largest watch party yet Tuesday night -- fans began packing the area two hours before first pitch.
All throughout Milwaukee, different generations have come together to watch history in the making.
"I'm so excited," said Brewers fan Abi Weishoff. "This is insane. I can't believe we actually made it to be here right now with all these people; it's a dream."
"Oh, it's epic, don't ya think?" said fan Amy Runhaar. "It's a once-in-a-lifetime, I mean we almost got it back in '82, and to have it now again, it's surreal. And you look at the fans and they're coming from all over the state. I mean they flew to Tampa. It's just a really fun atmosphere and it's fun to be here."
