'That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown': Turner Hall Ballroom hosting live 'A Charlie Brown Christmas' jazz concerts 🎄

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- "Charlie Brown, you're the only person I know who can take a wonderful season like Christmas and turn it into a problem."

Milwaukee's Turner Hall will be filled with the sounds of a beloved holiday classic as The Commercialists take stage to play the music of the Vince Guaraldi Trio's soundtrack "A Charlie Brown Christmas." The festive jazz score, synonymous with the season since the animated television special first aired on CBS in 1965, continues to spread yuletide cheer.

Fans of the iconic jazz tunes can experience the live rendition with two performances scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 23.

The legacy of the Vince Guaraldi Trio's soundtrack has only grown over the decades. The Recording Industry Association of America certified it quintuple platinum in 2022, marking 5 million copies sold. Billboard solidified its status by ranking it as the tenth best-selling Christmas album in the U.S. as of Nov. 2014.

The album was also inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2007 and joined the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress in 2012, highlighting its cultural and historical significance.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. For more information, click here or visit the Pabst and Riverside box offices.
