MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- First Stage, a theater for young people and families based in Milwaukee, is taking on the daunting task of telling one of the most epic adventures of the 20th century.
In the stage adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's 'The Hobbit,' Bilbo Baggins winds up on a magical adventure filled with action and surprises. Bilbo's journey traverses mountains and forests while encountering creatures of all types.
Angel Rivera, who takes on the role of Bilbo in First Stage's production, joined us on Monday, Feb. 6 to discuss the production and what it is like to become an accomplished local performer despite only being a senior in high school.
The production runs through March 5 at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center. For more information, including how to buy tickets, click here.
