The Hop streetcar reduces hours due to COVID-19 outbreak

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, The Hop streetcar will temporarily reduce its operations beginning Thursday, March 26.

The streetcar will operate from 7 a.m.- 9 p.m. daily, with cars arriving every 20 minutes. 

Those who rely on the streetcar's service are asked to be extra vigilant in exercising recommended hygiene practices, including regular and thorough hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes with a tissue or elbow, and avoiding touching the eyes, nose or mouth. Passengers are asked to leave additional space between themselves and others on board, and utilize seats whenever possible rather than holding the poles or hand straps. If you are exhibiting any symptoms or feel ill, please stay home.
