MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Fans continue to support Team USA as they hope to bring home their fifth Women's World Cup win.
"Oh my god, they're the best team in the history of the United States. They make me proud to be an American. I love watching them every time they play,” fan Brittany Kachingwe said before watching the Wednesday night game against the Netherlands at Highbury in Bayview.
Dozens came out to support the team. The game ended with a 1-1 draw, and fans are confident the women can make it all the way, including Burlington resident Jim Berndt, who has tickets for the final three games.
He tells CBS 58 that more fans should support the team because the talent these women have is unmatched in his opinion.
"I wish more people would get behind them, I mean, this is prenominal what they're doing. No professional team has ever gone for a threepeat," he said.
Team USA returns to the pitch on Tuesday against Portugal.
