The Tornado Watch has been chopped from much of southern Wisconsin over the last hour, and the remaining counties will be allowed to expire at the end time of 10pm. Take a look at hail reports from this evening:

While the tornadic threat is ending, we still have scattered storms around.

The National Weather Service will be out first thing Wednesday morning surveying damage in the Sussex area, as well as Walworth, Racine and Kenosha and then up to Beaver Dam. There will be a lot to cover but we will bring you updates as they come in.

As of 7:25 p.m. we are clear from active tornado warnings. However, we continue with the tornado watch until 10pm. So far we have had a couple reports from storm chasers of tornadoes on the ground across southern Wisconsin. In addition, we had radar confirmed tornado near Sussex.

You can clearly see a debris ball near Sussex right around 6:30pm. As the storm traveled east around 35 mph the rotation became more broad as it approached the lake front.

As you can see we are still tracking strong storms. All of these storms are moving to the east around 35mph. Almost all the storms tonight have had a history of large hail. Here's quarter size hail from the Northshore from around 7pm:

And lastly, Flash flood warnings continue in the rust colored areas until 10:15pm. Bottom line is we will continue to track more storms until around midnight, then conditions should quiet down.
