Trick-or-treat designed to accomodate children with special needs being held in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Southbrook Church in Franklin will be hosting a community "Special Friends Trick-or-Treat" event on Sunday, october 13.

The free event will feature a safe and accessible venue designed to accomodate children with special needs.

“We had such a wonderful response to our Special Friends Easter Egg Hunt, we decided to serve the same community this fall. It's such a joy for all of us to be able to give these amazing children the chance to experience the fun and excitement of a trick-or-treat,” said Sean Luellwitz, Executive Pastor of Southbrook Church.

The event will be held inside the church, 11010 W. Saint Martins Road, Franklin, from 2 to 3:30 pm on Sunday, October 13. There is no cost to participate. All children with special needs – and their families and friends – are welcome to come in their fun costumes and fill their buckets with candy. Food will also be served.

Parents who would like their children to take part in the event should register in advance by clicking here
