TSA PreCheck enrollment will soon be offered at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- TSA PreCheck will offer passengers at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport the opportunity to enroll at the airport from July 26 to Aug. 6, officials say.

Officials say this is the first opportunity for enrollment at the airport in two years due to COVID-19.

The airport says enrolled passengers do not need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, light outerwear, or belts when going through TSA security screening.

Airlines participating include Air Canada, Alaska, American, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, Spirit, Sun Country, and United. 

Enrollments will be offered Mondays through Fridays between July 26 and Aug. 6. Times will be between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m., and 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. It will be at the main terminal and Concession Mall near the Miller Brewery Shop.

Applicants need to bring a passport or a government-issued photo ID and proof of citizenship to complete enrollment. A five-year membership is $85. Cash and personal checks are not accepted. The application process includes an in-person interview, background check, and fingerprint processing. Face coverings are required.
