Tuesday's storms in Milwaukee County reek havoc on cars, trees

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--I spent Wednesday morning on Milwaukee's northwest side surveying the damage, and one thing I noticed repeatedly was the number of trees on top of cars. It was a bit random and haphazard though. It seems just about every block had at least one car damaged by the storm, but it wasn't widespread on any particular block. Tuesday night's storms really packed a punch with winds likely more than 60 mph. The National Weather Service is surveying the region today. At the time of writing this article, I believe at least one tornado has been confirmed. This one in Washington County. Work crews were working hard during the day to clear the rubble from the streets and repair powerlines. At least they have a few good days of weather in the forecast.
