KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two Kenosha County men are behind bars after a string of armed robberies in Kenosha, but they're also facing charges for what was found inside their getaway car.
When Scott Haun and Daniel Wells were arrested Sunday after a four-day robbery spree, Wells told police his 3-year-old daughter was sleeping in the backseat.
Both men are facing a long list of charges including armed robbery and child neglect after police say they robbed four businesses at knifepoint.
Investigators say the robbery spree started Thursday, August 1 when the two men robbed a BP gas station at knifepoint, getting away with hundreds of dollars. Over the next three days, the two allegedly robbed Family Video once and Morelli's Deli twice.
Police caught up with the two men later on Sunday, August 4 and they were arrested with Wells' daughter sleeping in the backseat.
According to the criminal complaint, Wells told police he acted as Haun's getaway driver int he robberies and the two shared the money to buy drugs.
Haun's bond is set at $75,000. Wells' bond is $25,000. They'll both be back in court next week.
