Two arrested on drug charges after Racine County traffic stops leads to discovery of vape cartridges, edibles
RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two men were arrested and are facing numerous drug charges following a traffic stop in Racine County.
A Racine County Sheriff's Deputy was on patrol on I-94 in Yorkville when they saw a red Honda Odyssey approaching with a defective passenger side head lamp.
A traffic stop was initiated and the vehicle continued to drive for a mile before pulling over.
When the deputy approached the vehicle, they could smell marijuana.
A search of the vehicle uncovered 315.6 grams of marijuana, 4 packages of 500 mg THC edible gummies, 33 THC Vape Cartridges, 17.3 grams THC Dabs, and drug paraphernalia.
The driver, a 28-year-old man from Illinois, and his 32-year-old passenger were both arrested.
They are facing charges of possession with intent as a repeat drug offender, possession of THC as a repeat drug offender, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
