WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two New Berlin Police Officers have been fired and two Waukesha Police Officers were disciplined after a traffic stop.
"How much have you had to drink tonight, then? Two beers? Two beers? Alright."
Two Waukesha Police Officers pulled over two men for a broken tail light in late April of this year. Despite the driver of the vehicle telling the officers he had been drinking, the officers did not perform a field sobriety test.
It turns out the two people in the car that was stopped were off-duty New Berlin Police Officers.
The second time the Waukesha officers approach the car, their audio is turned off. The two officers who made the stop were disciplined.
The two officers in the car have been fired.
