Two people killed after early morning motorcycle crash in Washington County
CBS 58 TOWN OF POLK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office says two people are dead following a motorcycle crash in the Town of Polk on Saturday, August 29.
Officials responded to the crash area near Highway 175 and Highway 164 at around 2:30 a.m.
Washington County Sheriff's Deputies, along with the Slinger Police Department and Wisconsin State Patrol, located a man and woman at the scene.
Lifesaving efforts were performed on scene, but both patients died at the scene.
The victims have been identified as a 29-year-old Town of Polk woman and a 51-year-old Town of Jackson man.
The crash remains under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
Officials closed the roadway for approximately five hours while investigation the scene.
