2 students robbed on Marquette University campus

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Marquette Police Department is investigating an incident that saw two students get robbed of their backpacks on campus. 

Officials say it happened on Sunday, Oct. 20th, in the area of 16th and Kilbourn Ave.

At around 8:15 p.m. police say a Man approached two Women Marquette students and displayed a weapon and demanded their wallets.

The suspect took both victims' backpacks and fled toward North State Street.

The suspect is being described a 5-foot-10 inch black man in his mid 20s to 30s, wearing a gray sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and a black ski mask. 

No injuries have been reported and police are still searching for the suspect.
