MILWAUKEE - Two are dead after a shooting that occurred Wednesday evening in the 2800 block of N. 27th Street. The double shooting happened shortly before 6:00 PM.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear at this time. Preliminary investigation reveals that one of the victims may have been shot while inside the vehicle.

A 24-year-old male was shot and despite life-saving efforts, the victim died from his injuries while in route to the hospital.

A 34-year-old male was also shot. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Milwaukee police continue to search for suspects.
