UW System to comply with Biden's vaccine order for federal contractors

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- The University of Wisconsin System says it will comply with President Biden's executive order that requires federal contractors to be vaccinated.

Biden's order has convinced colleges across the country to institute vaccine requirements.

UW officials say the system doesn't want to risk jeopardizing millions of dollars in federal contracts. 

It is not clear whether the UW System has interpreted the order to be a campus-wide employee mandate and whether it would apply to all campuses.
