Valentine's Day movie watchlist
(CNN) For those choosing to stay at home on Valentine's Day, streaming services like Netflix, HBO Now and Hulu can become an unlikely companion.
On Twitter, users are already declaring their love for their media provider.
Some singles are even planning to spend the entire holiday with the service as their bae, complete with chocolate and ice cream, of course.
So, the Digital Features Team at CNN has come up with a list of their Top 10 romance movies to stream. These films transcend time, showcase lovers with intriguing backgrounds and can evoke both laughter and tears.
Speaking of tear-jerkers, the Oscar-winning film "Brokeback Mountain" made the list for its emotional plotline detailing the romance between two men who have wives, kids and separate lives. Juicy scenario, right? Catch it on HBO Now.
If you're in need of a good laugh, turn on Netflix or Stars Play, because "Bridget Jones's Diary" will not disappoint. The protagonist (Renée Zellweger) chronicles the misadventures of a quirky 30-something-year-old who is attracted to her boss, while being pursued by another man.
If you have Netflix and like classic movies, check out 1953's "Roman Holiday," starring Audrey Hepburn as a princess who falls for an American reporter. The role landed Hepburn an Academy Award. Hulu has a more recent classic, "Dirty Dancing," with its raucous dance scenes and unforgettable ending.
If you prefer something more recent, the 2012 comedy drama "Silver Linings Playbook," starring America's sweetheart Jennifer Lawrence and heartthrob Bradley Cooper, is worth catching on Netflix.
Planning on binge-watching romance movies all day? Add "Love and Basketball" to your HBO Now watch list. It's all about the ups and downs of balancing a relationship when personal ambitions come into play.
Now that you're equipped with a boredom-proof romance movie streaming list, we hope these blockbusters will banish any Valentine's Day blues.
