MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin veterans are showing off their creative side.
The Milwaukee VA Medical Center is holding an art show this week.
It features work in 100 categories like painting, sculpture, dance, and music.
More than 30 veterans are participating.
That includes Frank Kaiser who finds artwork calming and an escape from everything.
"Everything flows into your work whether it's the pain, emotional, or physical pain. It's just an easy way to get everything out," said Frank Kaiser, an Air Force Veteran and Artist.
The art show runs through Thursday.
The art show winners will advance to the National Competition which will be held this fall.
