Victim found safe after reports of possible drowning on Fox River

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Waterford police say a person has been rescued following reports of a possible drowning on the Fox River Wednesday, Aug. 9.

Officials say the victim was found in marsh grass along the shore of the river around 12:46 p.m. with the use of a Racine County Sheriff Department drone.

Authorities say the victim was found safe, with only superficial injuries, and was taken to an area hospital for precautionary treatment.
