Victim seriously injured by gunfire while sitting in vehicle near 51st and Clarke

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that seriously injured a 23-year-old victim Monday night, Dec. 2. 

Officials say the victim was in a vehicle near 51st and Clarke when they were struck by gunfire around 4:46 p.m.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. 

The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation, and police seek unknown suspects.
