MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police have released video footage from an officer-involved shooting on June 12

A 30-year-old officer was injured, as well as a 39-year-old suspect, identified as Donte Gladney.

According to MPD, officers were patrolling the area near 46th and Hampton when they were flagged down by a community member reporting two individuals who were flashing guns. Police say when the officers attempted to stop the suspects, they fled on foot.

One of the officers exited their squad and chased a suspect-identified by a criminal complaint as Gladney- into an alley, directing him to drop his gun. Police say he refused, and gunfire was exchanged between Gladney and the officer. Both were struck.

Officials say a second suspect, identified as 19-year-old Devin Osborne, was arrested without further incident.

Police say two ghost guns were recovered at the scene.

Court records show Gladney has been charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide, possession of a firearm by a felon, endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon, and obstructing an officer.

Osborne is charged with carrying a concealed weapon, endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon (pointing), and obstructing an officer.

The injured police officer is recovering at home. He was placed on administrative duty as is routine in officer-involved shootings.

The Milwaukee Police Homicide Unit will be investigating the incident.
