MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Metro Milwaukee's largest business group says restaurants are still on the road to recovery. The Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) talked about restoring the consumer confidence during a virtual discussion on Tuesday, June 16.
MMAC President Tim Sheehy was joined by leaders from two major Milwaukee companies, the Marcus Corporation and the Bartolotta Restaurant Group.
Greg Marcus talked about the unique challenge of filling theaters and limiting contact.
"You can buy your ticket online on your phone. You can buy your concessions on your phone. Now when you come to the theater you don't have to go to a box office or concession stand. Now when you walk in you go to a pickup point and your concessions are ready for you," said President and CEO of the Marcus Corporation, Greg Marcus.
Some Marcus Theatres will reopen Friday, June 19 with only 50-percent capacity and a limited movie schedule.
