MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A weekend packed with fun is on the calendar in Milwaukee, ranging from motorcycle races to art exhibitions. Ian Thompson from Visit Milwaukee talked about what's ahead when he joined us on Thursday, Feb. 20.
Winter’s End Family Event will take place Saturday, Feb. 22 at The Landing at Hoyt Park Beer Garden. The free event features a self-guided animal-tracking walk, crafts, a hidden rock hunt and a fire pit for s’mores. Food and drinks will be available to buy.
Mama Tried Weekend begins Thursday at the Harley-Davidson Museum with a screening of "Angels of Dirt" at 5 p.m., followed by boonie bike races. Flat Out Friday returns to Fiserv Forum on Friday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. with more than 300 riders competing on a soda-syrup-coated track.
MAM After Dark: New York Nights is set for Friday, Feb. 21 at the Milwaukee Art Museum, celebrating the 1980s with music, breakdancing and a photo booth inspired by artist Robert Longo.
The OnMilwaukee Adult Spelling Bee will be held Friday, Feb. 21 at The Cooperage. The 21+ event includes spelling games, a DJ set by Dori Zori and a special teacher recognition segment.
