MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A variety of events are planned across Milwaukee this weekend, including live comedy, film screenings and a foodie fundraiser.
Prost! & Punchlines will bring local comedians to Kegel’s LLC on Thursday, Feb. 27 from 6-8 p.m. The event, hosted by Sam Barone, includes performances in a heated beer garden tent. Tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door.
"Radio Milwaukee Presents: SoundBites 2025" will take place Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The fundraiser pairs local chefs with DJs to create a sensory experience featuring food, music and a silent auction.
Milwaukee Film’s Black History Month programming continues Friday, Feb. 28 with a screening of "Glory" at the Oriental Theatre. The 1989 film revolves around the first all-Black volunteer company in the Civil War.
"Pardi Gras!" will be held Saturday, March 1 at Grebe’s Bakery & Ope! Brewing Co. The event features beer, paczki and polka in celebration of the upcoming Fat Tuesday.
