Season snow check as we head into a nice weekend
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Ian Thompson from Visit Milwaukee joined us on Thursday, Jan. 16 to chat about several events taking place in the city this weekend.
The Milwaukee Bucks will host the Toronto Raptors on Friday, Jan. 17 as part of Bucks Night Out, which includes a ticket and a beverage voucher with qualifying purchases. On Sunday, Jan. 19, the Bucks will face the Philadelphia 76ers during a Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration presented by We Energies.
On Saturday, Jan. 18, Ron Faiola will headline the Wisconsin Supper Club Series at Friends of Hoyt Park and Pool. The $50 event features supper club-style dining, Old Fashioned cocktails and a presentation by Faiola, an award-winning author and filmmaker.
Winter Gallery Night MKE, a free, citywide art event, will run Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Historic Third Ward. Galleries, restaurants and boutiques will participate.
First Stage’s "The Dinosaur Play" opens Saturday at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center. The family-friendly production runs through Feb. 16 and offers a prehistoric adventure featuring dinosaurs and a mysterious egg. Tickets are available online.
