MILWAUKEE (CBs 58) -- A weekend of gatherings, festivals and markets is on Milwaukee's calendar over the coming days, offering fun centered around art, music and local vendors. Visit Milwaukee’s Ian Thompson joined us Thursday, July 24 with a preview of what to expect.
The 414 Freeze Night Market is set to run Thursday, July 24, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joy Ice Cream Social, 8334 W. North Ave., featuring handmade and vintage goods priced at $15 or less.
Also on Thursday, Art Blaze returns to McKinley Beach from 4 to 9:30 p.m. with music by The Quilz, public art displays, a silent disco and interactive installations.
German Fest begins Friday, July 25, and continues through Sunday, July 27, on the Summerfest grounds. Programming includes the STIHL Timbersports U.S. Championships.
Milwaukee Brewfest is scheduled for Saturday, July 26 with gates opening at 2 p.m. for VIP and 3 p.m. for general admission. Only attendees age 21 and older are permitted. Food and water will be available, not just beer!
