MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Visit Milwaukee’s Ian Thompson joined us on Thursday, May 1, with a preview of weekend events taking place across the city.
Florentine Opera will present "Carmen" on Friday, May 16 at Uihlein Hall. The 7:30 p.m. performance will feature Bizet’s full-length opera in French with English subtitles.
Pabst Theater Group will host Bingo Loco on Saturday, May 17. The interactive stage show includes bingo, music, dance competitions and prize giveaways.
Urban Harvest Brewing Company will mark its ninth anniversary with a block party Saturday, May 17 on S. 5th Street. Music runs from 3 to 6 p.m. with food from BeBe’s Bistro.
Milwaukee Makers Market returns Sunday, May 18 at Ivy House with more than 45 vendors. Admission to the market is free.
