Milwaukee Oktoberfest runs Friday, Oct. 4 to Sunday, Oct. 6 at Cathedral Square Park. The event features live German music, food, competitions and begins with free beer at 4 p.m. Friday.
Bark & BBQ is set for Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The event includes vendor booths, dog activities, contests and barbecue food trucks.
Shakers Original Ghost Tour provides a 60-minute look into the establishment’s history as a Capone-owned building and former brothel. Tours are indoors; attendees should arrive 20 minutes before start time.
The Milwaukee County Zoo offers a Family Free Day on Saturday admitting all guests free. Parking and regular attraction fees still apply.
