MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Springtime in Milwaukee means there is even more to do than usual!
Julia Meehan of VISIT Milwaukee joined us on Wednesday, April 1 to highlight a packed calendar of events coming to the city this month.
The Milwaukee Film Festival runs April 16-30 at the Downer and Oriental theaters. Opening night features "Ueck," a documentary on Milwaukee legend Bob Uecker, and the closing night film is "Power Ballad" starring Nick Jonas and Paul Rudd.
414 Day returns Monday, April 14 with Bars & Recreation locations across Milwaukee housing activities like axe throwing, karaoke, bowling and shuffleboard for $4.14 each from 5 to 9:14 p.m.
The Milwaukee Art Museum hosts Art in Bloom from April 16-19, where floral designers create installations inspired by works in the collection. A floral fashion show is planned for April 17.
First Stage opens Disney's Frozen on April 11, running weekends through May.
