MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- As springtime rolls in within two weeks, plans are being made for what to enjoy in the area, so we were joined by Ian Thompson of VISIT Milwaukee on Wednesday, March 6 for the inside scoop about what to expect.
Tosa Restaurant Week, organized by the Wauwatosa West Allis Chamber of Commerce, takes place from Wednesday, March 14, through March 23. It features food and beverages from a variety of eateries and breweries in Wauwatosa.
The Playworks Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament is scheduled for Thursday, March 7 at Lakefront Brewery. The event aims to support Playworks Wisconsin’s mission, with a portion of proceeds going towards promoting safe play for students.
WhirlyBall Brookfield will host a St. Patrick’s Day event for families on Sunday, March 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering activities and a lunch buffet. Admission is set at $20 for children and $30 for adults.
Potawatomi Casino and Hotel’s Rock and Brews will present free concerts on Saturdays throughout March, featuring acts like Rob Knapp & The Soul Patrol and Livin' the Dream, starting March 9.
The Schlitz Audubon Nature Center will conduct its Maple Sugar Time! event on Saturday, March 23, focusing on the maple sugaring process and offering various activities for attendees of all ages.
