MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Julia Meehan joined us on Wednesday, Aug. 5 to outline a lineup of seasonal activities happening in Milwaukee.
The Historic Third Ward will host the Moon Festival from Aug. 7-9, featuring a 23-foot illuminated art installation by Luke Jerram alongside live music, dance performances and local art. Admission is free.
The Marcus Performing Arts Center will hold the Summer Park Jam from Aug. 14-15. The free, 2-day event runs from 12 to 8 p.m. at the Peck Pavilion grounds and includes industry workshops on Friday followed by live performances and interactive art on Saturday.
Also, the Summerfest grounds will host the Pulse Health and Wellness Fest on Saturday, Aug. 29. Attendees can access free fitness classes, cooking demonstrations and health organization exhibits.
