Vos challenges new effort to have him removed

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos is challenging a new effort to have him removed from his seat. 

Petitioners are targeting Vos due to his refusal to impeach the state's top election official over their conduct during the 2020 election. 

Last week, they submitted 9,000 signatures to the state's election committee. 

But Vos argues those signatures were collected in the wrong district, making them invalid. 

Committee members have until June 28th to issue their ruling.
