'Walking in a winter wonderland': SnowGlobe Holiday Festival headed to Franklin, opening delayed
FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Anyone with plans to attend the SnowGlobe Holiday Festival's opening weekend will need to make some changes.
Enchant Milwaukee announced on Facebook that the opening has been pushed back until Friday, Nov. 29, with tickets being honored on any other day of the event.
Recent winter weather is attributed for the delay.

The SnowGlobe Holiday Festival will take place at Ballpark Commons from Sunday, Nov. 24 to Tuesday, Dec. 31. The festival is being presented by Enchant, who brought Enchant Christmas to Franklin Field in 2023.
Among the attractions that are billed to be featured are a snow globe-inspired light maze, a Christmas pop-up bar, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, ice skating, caroling, snow tubing, a Christmas Village with vendors offering holiday gifts and more, according to a Thursday, Aug. 1 press release.
Special events during the festival include Paws n' Claus Night on Tuesday, Dec. 3, Military Night on Saturday, Dec. 7 and Ugly Holiday Sweater Night on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Additional themed evenings, such as Ladies Nights on Dec. 14 and 21, and College Student Nights on Dec. 15 and 28, are also scheduled.
Enchant Christmas in 2023 attracted thousands to Franklin Field with similar festive activities but Enchant says that the SnowGlobe Holiday Festival will deliver a new experience.
